COMMENTS: The female figure in this work is derived from a nude study I sculpted several years ago. In the early summer of 2010, I finally made a rubber mold from this sculpture, and using one part of the three-part mold, created the bas-relief figure, and around this figure developed an imagined world for her poetic contemplations.
